This drum features the best of both worlds, Cherry & Mahogony Shell Construction. The Mahogony brings a dark, mellow tone that is an excellent choice for a range of musical settings while the Cherry applies a very "musical" tonality to the overall shell, which yields distinctive melodic clarity and a warmer tonality than maple.
