Gretsch G5379 Lightning Butt Plate *IN STOCK*

Originally introduced in 1971, the Gretsch Lightning Butt Plate is always paired with the G5375 Lightning Throw off. Collectors refer to it as the "Fish Tail" Butt Plate. It's knurled top wheel loosens or tightens the snare wires to your desired tension and the frame itself is visually similar to the double ended snare lug, (notice the clean detailed lines). The Lightning Throw off is found on most USA factory snare drums and is available as an aftermarket sales part.
