Check Out this Beautiful, Brand-New Sakae Maple 5.5x14 Snare Drum in Piano Black Gloss!
Handmade in Japan in January of 2016 by Sakae - Maple Snare Drum in Piano Black finish!
This is a beautiful snare drum in like new condition and possibly still in the factory bag! Beautiful piano black finish - the shell appears to be a 6 plies, but it is difficult to know for sure without taking the heads off. Includes factory heads on top and bottom and factory snare wires! I do not see any marks on the top head. So I believe this drum to be unplayed, and possibly untouched since leaving the factory. Includes the original factory key as well.
Sakae was a drum builder in Japan that built the famous Yamaha drums that were made in Japan in the 80s and 90s. In the 2010s, they decided to launch their own brand, but are no longer in business. So these are limited to what was built in the short window of time that the Sakae brand was around.
