We Are Very Pleased and Excited to Announce that on Wednesday April 1st at 7:00PM, We Will Be Hosting a LIMITED Composition Lab with Tim Alexander, Former Drummer of Primus Here at the Shop!
Tim Alexander, also credited as "Herb" Alexander, is a retired musician best known as the drummer for the rock band Primus!
Prior to Primus, Tim was the drummer for Arizona's ‘Major Lingo’ from 1985-1990.
Tim has played in several projects with Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan, including the bands Puscifer and A Perfect Circle!
He earned the nickname "Herb" from his Primus bandmates after carrying a fanny pack full with herbs like ginseng that he would distribute.
In this masterclass, Tim will teach his approach to drum composition/writing drum transcriptions and conceptual groove-building! He will offer ideas and concepts for developing musical drum parts, open Q&A as well as hands-on participation from each attendee!
Each attendee IS REQUIRED to bring a practice pad, sticks of choice and a snare stand for their practice pad.
