The 24" Foundry Reserve Ride is a very versatile ride with a dark and brooding wash that can explode quickly into an ominous crash! A lush wash of undertones flood the bright attack when this cymbal is crashed and responds beautifully to mallets as well! The 24" Foundry Reserve Ride is perfect for jazz, fusion, funk, R&B as well as studio recordings due to their mid-dark timbre, complex yet dark character, low-mid pitch but low in overall volume with a short sustain! This cymbal has been hammered by hand and has a traditional finish on it with a wide blade lathe so the best way to clean this cymbal is with the Meinl Cymbal Cleaner!
